Fränkisches Bierfest 2016

The prices in Nürnberg certainly are sky-high, and are double what I paid back in June.I am left wondering whether the 2016 festival is responsible for this massive increase, or whether there is something else going on in the city that week.

I will take up both yours and Gerhard's suggestions and look at places along the Nürnberg-Bamberg rail-line. Kraus in Hirschaid looks good; and I visited the pub back in June. There are also places in Buttenheim which look reasonable as well.
