| I can recommend in Bamberg (between the railway station and the Café Abseits) the guesthouse, if it's possible to use different hotels/guesthouses for Your group- http://www.ferienhaus-aargau-bamberg.de/ Übernachtung for until 4 Personen 66 EUR per night 2 bedrooms each for until 2 persons, without breakfast (but with a kitchen), cheaper for a whole week, friendly owner, 5 minutes to the railway station. Supermarkets (Rewe and Aldi) 100 meters away, also the Café Abseits. It's a whole small house for a group. A second possiblity near the railway station is the new (since October 2015) Ibis Budget hotel (between Weyermann and the Café Abseits). They have non expensive prives, but the price depends on the demand. (maybe 60 zo 80 Euro for a double-room). With the Tagesticket 10+ You have to pay 18.70 Euro per day (for until 2 adults). If You pay a ticket for saturday, You can use it also on sonday. Or You buy a Bayernticket for 23 € per day and further 5 Euro per head for until 5 adults totally, p.e. 43 € for 5 users. http://www.bahn.de/p/view/angebot/regio/bayern/bayernticket.shtml 2 Euros additonal fee if You buy the ticket at a counter instead at a ticket machine. It's not allowed to use the IC (InterCity fast trains).. Both (Bayernticket and VGN ticket 10+ include the local traffic in Bamberg and Nuremberg (underground, buses). |
