| Yes I can imagine. I was more thinking about as a second 'job' or something to do whilst studying part time. Certainly not a stand alone occupation or anything in depth like documents or books, as you say that would be boring unless you specialised. I could quite happily while away a few afternoon hours sitting at my 'desk' in the Spezial (other hostelries are available) translating pages into English. Would actually go hand in hand with my German studies. If the renumeration covers my beer I'll be a happy chappie. I imagine I'd need some sort of 8 year degree in "translating webpages in a gasthof' to be able to do this legally so it's probably a pipe dream. |
