Day of beer,worth it?

The Bamberg Tourism Service, the breweries and other organisations plan many events and special offers the whole year. P.e. beer and food pairings by the brewerey Spezial, brewery visits in the brewery Heller-Bräu (Schlenkerla), a craft-beer-festival  Probier-Bamberg 18./19th November 2015 (12 Euro fee per day incl. some tastings) in the Konzert- und Kongresshalle Bamberg

The longer day of beer (3 days in 2016 instead only one day) is part of these 500 years-jubilee.

I like the day of beer, because it's possible to meet many local and foreign beerfriends  For foreigners it's a nice possibility to taste all main beers of Bamberg (0.25 l glasses, on gravity). Personally I miss special beers and festival beers, because I knew all this beers and can drink them in the brewpubs too. I like the 10 minutes to drive to the Maxplatz, but I wouldn't drive maybe 1 hour.
