| You island folk are building windmill farms and tidal generators, though. I personally find the off-shore wind farms around Thanet to not ruin the views. At least not any more than all the gigantic ship traffic does. Is it well known outside of Germany that the Fukushima disaster has prompted this country to get out of nuclear power entirely, shutting down all its reactors, by 2022 (IIRC)? It was quite interesting as a foreigner to see fairly unilateral cross-party agreement that it had to be done. |
