Jürgens Kellerpils...... |

Hmm...Dunno. Guess I should've drunk it sooner, 'cause it was horrible: cardboard, broccoli, and even a bit sour. Oh, wait. No, that was something else. Jürgen's Kellerpils is great. Reminds me of Griess Kellerbier, except "cleaner", maybe "slimmer". Quite bitter and hoppy, with that nice "mineral" note that I find in Griess, without any of the slight smokiness that Griess sometimes has. (Why can't I recall what compound it is that leads to a smokey character (or worse, Band-Aid/pflaster) without smoked malt?) At any rate, very, very impressive, Jürgen! Be careful though, the bottle was a little under-filled. That can lead to quicker oxidation. How strong is it? Cheers, mate! |
