You could also think about going by train to Strullerndorf, and then walking to Reundorf Keller (about 8.5 km). On the way, there is one must-stop, Schrauder Keller in Pettstadt (Löwenbräu Buttenheim), open on Sunday from 10am (if weather is good).

But you have to use the Fähre in Pettstadt (0,50€ per person), which I liked last time.

However I do not know how many kilometers you could/want to walk...
