| About 17 minutes into the first video, they talk about cooling the wort to pitching temperature. Gaumenkitzler is cooled only to 20°, whereas other beer, untergäriges beer, is cooled to 10°. The second video shows people enjoying it on Reinheitsgebot day, the day it was tapped. The third chap wasn't drinking it, he didn't think he'd like it, and wasn't going to risk trying it, sticking the the Lager that he knows. (Looks quite murky for ale that's been lagered 4 or 5 weeks!) Nice Bamberger-land Franconian is spoken, too. |
