Wattendorf

I was in Wattendorf a few weeks ago. I've got to say the beer wasn't anything too exciting at Hubner or Dremel, though I was the designated driver that day so I just had a sip of a couple. The guys I were with confirmed that they were average. That's not to say not worth a visit just that I would consider carefully if it's going to be a hassle. In terms of biking, it's pretty hilly around that area. Check website for openings as I think they have changed recently (not for the better). I haven't had Hubner (Steinfeld) beer for a while, at the brewery years ago and at the Blues Bar (?)opposite Pizzini that used to do Sunday barrels of the Landbier. If you cycle you could visit as it's just down the road from Wattendorf.
