Schlenkerla and Spezial

When we were in Bamberg last year it seemed to be that the Schenkerla was a shade lighter and not quite as smoky. Thought maybe it was a glitch or a seasonal thing. It seems not. Fred, Im sure youve had a few in there in the last week, what do you think?
