I was at Holzlein last week, and probably half a dozen separate ocassions last year and I've lost count of how many over the last 10 years, On every ocassion the Vollbier has been superb and I have no hesitation that it is one of the best lagers (to use a catch all phrase) available alongside the likes of Monchsambach, Hummel and Wagner (to name a few) in the region. If I had a £ for every time someone mentioned diacytl with regards to Franconian beer on a beer related website...
