| Now I see what you mean. The small article I photographed has an error. It's Brauerei Simon of Lauf, not Unterzaunsbach. Sehr gut. At least one of these Keller(s) was not serving normal Wolfshöher, but a beer made with Forchheimer water that was trucked to a brewery...maybe Wolfshöher...in order to brew "Forchheimer" beer according to a recipe from the old, extinct Forchheimer Brauhaus brewery. I think it was at the Schäffbräu Keller. If I follow the story correctly, these four kellers were owned by the family that owned the Brauhaus, so it would make sense that one of those kellers would want to have a Forchheimer Brauhaus beer. I think the others all had either Greif or Wolfshöher. Yes, that appears to be accurate according to this Kellerplan. |
