Bamberg visit early March

I'm only just at undergraduate level with my studies of the VGN network/tariff.  Need many more years to graduate! It will be interesing to see the answer but I expect that it will only cover zone 1100 but, as I said, the next level is only marginally more expensive and stii good value for a week (or even 5 days) when you compare it to prices in the UK.  But, then, everything in England seems to have shot up since we were here last - pint of beer now around £3.70, with only the beloved Holt's below £3.00.  Talking of which, had a pint each of IPA (good), Bitter (excellent) and Two Hoots (described as a golden ale and really superb) last night in my old local, which is now in its 5th manifestation!
