| About 10 years ago I had the single worst beer I've had in Franconia -- and one of the worst I've ever had had a commercial brewery -- in Appendorf. All kinds of vinegar, rotting garbage, etc. etc. It was the old brewers birthday (75?). I was with Frank, Robert and Ursla and to this day Frank will describe a bad beers as "as bad as Appendorf' or "worse than Appendorf." I guess I need to get back... |
