Rent a car in Antwerp. Drop it off in Brussels. Only hitch: getting back to Antwerp if you've been drinking. Okay, not so good. Figure out De Lijn's schedules and take something like four buses and about as many hours for the same trip? Sorry man, sucks. Downside of the otherwise good train service are those strikes.
