Bamberg planning help needed |

| I'm planning a guided biertour through Bavaria and need some help on the Bamberg bit. Our group will be about 30-40 and we'll be travelling by bus. Our group will consist of US craft brewers, homebrewers and beer lovers. The plan is to spend 3 days in Bamberg before moving on. Here's what I have tentatively planned: Day 1 will be spend exloring on foot visiting sights and breweries/taprooms in Bamberg. Day 2 will be a day trip to breweries nearby in the North including Wagner (Kemmern), Höhn (Memmelsdorf) and Wagner & Hummel in Merkendorf and Göller and possibly including a Weyermann tour (depends on how many brewers are with us). Evening in Bamberg. Day 3 is a day trip south. Thinking of Griess, St. Georgen, Zehendner and finally Kreuzberg. Evening in Bamberg. Day 4 we depart for Eschawo and would love a recommendation for a stop along the way. So my concerns are: - Any good locations I'm missing? - Do these itinerarys sound doable? We won't be doing a tour at each stop, probably stop for a brew or two on some and move on, others we'll plan to stay a bit. - Are any of these locations not conducive to an influx of 35 bier tourists? We will certainly try to plan ahead but don't want to be unwelcome either. - The trip is planned for early May, so the kellers will be an option, weather-permitting. Anyone suggest an alternative to Kreuzberg should the weather be schlecht that day? - Herr Schoolmann will you be able to host our group for one of these evenings?
