Was lovely. Very decent Hausbier or whatever they call the beer in Aisch. Lovely condition, i.e. very little carbonation, loaded with "character" from a balance between malt, hop, and yes, even fermentation. A slight touch of butter. Succulent, actually, bayerischer Anstich. Roppelt's Kellerbier, OTOH, was a bit bland, an assessment confirmed by Kellermate Andreas, so it wasn't just palate wreckage from previous Hirschbraten & Kloß at Rittmayer. |
