Bamberg on German TV this Week

Sounds like it's based on the British TV show 'Come Dine with Me' - of course, it my be the other way round and, most likely, based on some similarly rubbishy US version. It actually started out as being a bit interesting (that's probably giving it more praise than it's due) but has ended up as utterly inane rubbish, with would be celebs vying to out do each other in being pathetic.  I won't be watching while in Eschawo!
