| Well not in the next couple of weeks, as we're off tomorrow with a hired/rented motor home/Wohnmobil/RV for the first time ever, and with the weather being so ...erm... flexible in the coming week or so, we have yet to firm up exact plans. But as it looks right now, it will very, very, very probably be to a NW corner of France, that I think our dear Jürgen knows somewhat. There may be cidre, if not proper bière. At least, I THINK that's the part of Brittany Jürgen visited a couple of years ago. Otherwise, if the weather suddenly changes again, we may be off to some other stretch of coast, preferably western rather than eastern, just because...well...I guess 6 weeks we spent in Dutchley last winter wasn't enough. Really though, we've got a brand, brand new 7-metre long camper decked out with 2 double beds, satellite TV, etc., etc., because we wanted to see what it's like to use such a thing. Maybe we'll "invest" in one in future. (I hear there's some sort of tunnel under the English/Armel channel that one can use to transport motor vehicles to the funny little islands to the north of Frankreich.) I'm packing along a couple cases of Pilsner Urquell. Hausbräu would be nice, but I don't want to subject it to the travel. But yes, I need to somehow work out Spielbach with Jürgen & co. Have to schedule it in with an overnight in Rothenburg, I think. |
