With all due respect - and I don't mean to disparage anyone - the folks at St. Erhard are corporate charlatans and don't seem to give a flying hoot about culture or the art of brewing, judging from their extremely defective, DMS-riddled (and gimmicky) "kellerbier", their hyperbolic youtube promotions and my previous online exchanges with them.  Maybe the store manager will have full autonomy and knows a thing or two about beer and can successfully juggle Frankenbier with interesting foreign products (100% independent breweries, ideally), but judging from those pallets of beer in the pictures, this model doesn't strike me as anything that the rich beer culture of Bamberg will benefit from.  I wouldn't put it past these guys to push for a Hofbrauhaus in the town square!
