| New to me, this is, in green 33cl bottles from Fränky Getränke today. It's a damned sad irony, that the beautiful old city-owned brewery in the beautiful old hop city of Spalt normally brews woefully bland beer, by Franconian standards. But this is quite decent. It's a bit ...not sure yet... harsh in the finish, but has enough nice export-y character (Helles Plus), unlike certain UNMENTIONABLE world-famous export beers from Munich. Recommended. |
