| Schlenkerla, large as it is, is still a small brewery, and as we all know, beer from such breweries can vary from batch to batch. It it troubling to hear of this Pfand situation though. If €5 for two beers puts you off a place, best avoid Erlangen! Wot -- dancing? How festive, especially for Karsamstag! Sorry we couldn't meet up again. And for you Irish lot...the word in the twittosphere is that Buxton Brewery beers are being imported now. Don't know if its anyplace other than the one pub mentioned, but maybe something to look out for. Could be excellent bottled. |
