| Make it to anything besides the Mahr's tent then? Would've been lovely, but was simply not up to travelling up there and then all the banter. Sod on dry aeroplane air, sod on me for not keeping hydrated well enough whilst flying! We did pedal down to Kitzmann for a Rotbier in the sunshine. Then Hausbräu at home (German malt & water!), then a can of Twisted Pine Hop Boy IPA brought back from Floriday. I approve of the new thing with putting good beer (what the marketing-duped kids call "craft") in cans. Except, it can't be bottle-conditioned, but already conditioned, so whilst easily transported, it ain't ideal. And I wore my Held Bräu t-shirt yesterday. I wanted to take some Witzgall Festbier and put some fresh ginger in it, just to violate the original and current versions of the Reinheitsgebot, but never got round to it. 498 years! |
