Recommendations - breweries close to Munich

There are numerous brewery stops between Munich and Salzburg but it would be useful to know if you are driving or going by train (I'm guessing the former if you are staying in Geisfeld). Traunstein is quite close to Salzburg and has 3 breweries which are all worth a visit. Rosenheim has 2. Both of these are on the train route from Munich to Salzburg.
