Multi-tap pubs

The Zoigl houses pretty much operate on the same principle as Düsseldorf's Altbier brewpubs: one beer to serve them all, although the Altbier pubs do make their exceptions (a couple of wheat beers, the occasional seasonal strong beer). Zoigl isn't about broad variety, and makes no pretensions about that. If that's a RateBeer criterion, the Zoigl pubs will continue to cheerfully ignore it, and I will continue to happily give my custom to such places as it suits me (and as time and convenience allow). There are times in this world where all that has to be on is that one singular and very good beer to make things go well. That is part and parcel of the charms of the Zoigl cutlure.
