Kraus in Hirschaid

Plus a nice keller about 2 kms east of the town and the railway station is only 5 - 10 minutes walk away - trains to Bamberg & Forchheim, among others, also the bus stop for the kellerbus to Rossdorf and Geisfeld, if you are there on a Sunday. We liked the Kraus beer garden, especially their rauchbier, and contemplated staying in the adjoining fewo.  However, it was a bit pricey for 3 weeks given that we woudl spend a lot of time travelling away from the place.  But, for 4 days, quite a nice place to be.
