It's a database of
http://www.guidemedia.de/
an enterprise of Markus Raupach and a partner. This database includes also breweries, pubs, restaurants, the same for wine etc.

This database is used for some books and some websites which offer different collections.
And as a part of a cooperation on the website of Bierland Oberfranken, a community of the of breweries iin Oberfranken.

Guide Media try to actualise their database and ask the owners of the entries if something is new.
The disadvantage is that they need the goodwill of the proprietars of the locations they describe. So they present them without a valuation. They don't give recommendations (maybe in contrast to the book of John Conen), so all places seem to be good. But the actuality of the entries is good on the websites. The books have some actuality problems - of course (p.e. opening times etc.).
