Fröhliche Weihnachten!

Frohe 2. Weihnachten! This year, we made it to the two Weihnachtsmärkte in Erlangen exactly once each, owing to lack of interest and proper weather. Our "traditional" visit to the larger, long-running one for closing time at 14.00 on the 24th was lovely, sunshine and 10°C.  New this year was "Bierpunch" at the stand with the higher-quality, simpler Glühwein (both weiß & rot). The gal made me take a sample of it before ordering it though, since "nobody seemed to like it." Indeed it was horrible -- butterscotch (diacytel) and honey. It's 85% Kellerbier (didn't bother asking which one, probably Kitzmann) and the rest honey and spices. Stayed with weißem Glühwein.
