Ireland vs. rest of Europe (beer tourists, etc.)

I'm not sure anyone was criticizing Ireland by any means. Just to be clear, in case I came across in the wrong way. I would choose Salzburg over Dublin for beer and everything else however. Augustiner muln just hits all the spots for me, beer wise. And in summer (and probably winter) the salzkammergut is wonderful. Everywhere has its charms. Well almost.
