| Erm...proper German doesn't have it. What do you mean? If you mean they don't use the "do" with negatives as in "don't say" ("tu das nicht sagen") in this non-standard German we've been discussing in this thread...? I do speak with people who use the "do" helper verb with positive statements and interrogatives, not so sure about negatives. If that's what you mean, then I don't know whether I agree or not. But I'm not sure what you mean. |
