AFA English IPA goes, check out the list at a pub that's having an IPA Fest, as seen in the twittosphere: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BXR_eO_IAAAWnGt.jpg As I'm posting from the Mini diesel choo-choo to/for Ebermannstadt, I can neither implant that Photo URL, nor do a sophisticated statistical analysis of the ABVs of the beers. But. Only 6 of the 25 are 6.0 % or higher, and only 2 are 7.0 or higher. Interestingly, Just as many are 4.0% or lower, and the number of sub-3%(!) IPAs balances the 7-plus ones. Clearly, this fest is not taking place in California, but in England. (Wonder how Greene King would compare.) I shall have to emigrate to Derbyshire, weather be damned.
