| "Franconian beer is starting to trickle into other parts of Germany which I hope is a very good sign." For exposure, I reckon this could be a good thing for certian styles that are more filtered like bockbier and festbier, but in my experience kellerbiers tend to degrade quite rapidly once bottled. I tend not to take bottle impressions as valid examples of the product, unless of course it is a favorable one. If the bottle is in poor condition, I make an effort to visit the brewery so I can compare with a fresh pour. Why the heck is my text all yellow and wonky? :-) |
