Saturday event in Strassgiech

I'm old enough to remember the original Rauchenfels Steinbier from a few decades ago. Smoke was very subtle, more of a gentle burnt caramel really, which shouldn't be surprising. Rauchenfels was absorbed by Altenmünster, which in turn is now part of the Radeberger Gruppe under the Allgäuer Brauhaus subsidiary. In all of this merger action, the Steinbier production was quietly shut down.
