I've gone in there (in the afternoon/early evening) dressed for a bike ride and got no hassle. Before you get the wrong idea, it's not a lot of spandex, just a baggy shirt and shorts and running shoes, but about as informal as you can get. Of course, I was just sitting at the bar, not taking up a choice table.

You should go in next time.
