Poor Greifenklau!

That hill's good for you! (Says the Oregonian.)

My first visit to Greifenklau was as a tourist 10 years ago, and it was fabulous: nice weather and the view from outside. Don't remember much about the beer. Next visit was with you, just a couple or three years ago, for the Bockbier. The lager was meh, Bock also.

Then a year ago in July(?) to meet Ian from ratebeer (then only just over 10000 rates), and the beer was off: diacytel and apples. Doubt I'll ever go back; when you've got the view from the Spezi Keller, plus Spezi beer.....that's a hill-climb's worth.
