5 days in Bamberg what are the essentials

Have not been to Kaiserdom myself. I am also heading to Bamberg, but two weeks later with a bunch of guys. I was thinking of going to nearby Geisfeld - a village with two breweries, and also to Melkendorf on the other side of Geisberg, and perhaps Lohndorf.Depends on the weather though since we enjoy walking.

Last time I was in Bamberg I liked the "pubs" Støhrenkeller and Weinstube Pizzini.
