Tragedy is that Kraus (and the lovely trunkbier) is auf urlaub, along with Lowenbrau Buttenheim, Dietzhof, etc., etc. I haven't had the nerve to look at what might be closed in Bamberg yet! Subtle hint: kein urlaub in Eschawo! Mark, I heard from Juergen about your night in Alt Brau and it made me ever so jealous. Not really but what made it worse was when we saw the urlaub sign, the front door was open and that there was a light on inside. Juergen, being an optimistic soul, gave the door a push and a gentle knock, which was answered by a lady. But, no joy, she was having none and firmly closed the door behind us!
