According to M's website, Simcoe is 3.9% and "Golden colour with a fruity lightly citrus hop nose, a bitter hoppy taste and a similar finish becoming slightly dry." A reasonably accurate description. Dizzy Blonde was omni-present in the Robbie's pubs that we visited. Maybe should have tried again but just wasn't so impressed first time. See on their website that they are going in for a few hoppy beers, Uncle Sam's, Hop Circle, etc. Seems that US micro's are now influencing even quite sizeable UK brewers. |
