OT: Visit to Manchester

Well, it was a Friday night and, it's true, Manchester after dark can be a bit hairy. However, none of the 'real' pubs had bouncers, presumably, because there is no need. In the dim and distant past, when the Circus was one of my regular Saturday night places (followed by a Chinese at the Kwok-Man!), the front door was often shut and you had to enter via the alley at the back, past the outside gents. Happy days!
