During the whole August we tap the Uetzinger Metzgerbräu Lager. From 2nd to 6th September we have closed (painting the walls and some other renovations). Then we will tap: - Wiethaler Hoptimum Pale Ale (we have gotten the last case and the last but one barrel of this beer). - Followed by the Braumanufaktur Hertl India Pale Ale. David Hertl is a young brewmaster (diploma: July 2013). End of the year 2012 he has started his small brewery in Thüngsfeld, part of Schlüsselfed. Last saturday was the official opening. A TV-team from Japan has used this event for a film about the smallest brewery in Franconia. David Hertl's His newest beer is an "Imperial Pumpkin Ginger Ale". I believe it's the first pumpkin beer of Germany (I have found informations about a Kürbis beer in the Switzerland and another in Austria. The last (Hofstettner Kürbisbier) I have tasted last year without to be impressed. I haven't tasted until now the "Hertl Imperial Pumpkin Ginger Ale".
