OT again:Berlin

There are some brew pubs near to Alexanderplatz: Lemkes, Marcus Brau, Brauerei Mitte. Also Hops & Barley in Friedrichshain. Check RB or BA for more up to date info. Or you can get a tram out to Kopenick and visit the small brewery in the town square. This is a nice area of town, next to the lakes. Berliner Burgerbrau is nearby. Their beers used to be really good but they have been absorbed by a bigger brewery, so nowadays I don't know about the quality. Public transport in Berlin is phenomenal. Even the buses are on time. And there is a surprising amount of green space and bike paths once you get out of West End/Mitte.
