Thinking back on my Trip

"Like," +1, etc. Only wish we'd managed to run into each other. Yeah, the latter part of May was not the nicest (especially during the torrential downpours), but we were in Eschawo and the Rheinland for four weeks, so we also had really good weather as well during the latter part of our stay, and managed to enjoy some Seidlas outdoors in Mitterteich, Altenstadt, Neustadt, and Neuhaus. We also stayed in the Cologne suburb of Bensberg and had an excellent Päffgen place just a few minutes' walk away, also with a very pleasant beer garden. Good trip report. I know we'll be doing something similar again, but for now, it's good to be back in the Pacific Northwest. The trip was marred only a bit - had a stomach bug for a couple of days, but that wasn't really so bad. Worse was the news that one of the nicest Eschawo people (and this is a town full of some really wonderful people) we've ever met, our landlord Karl Kellermann, had been in a terrible accident on his motorcycle, and he didn't survive it.
