OT: Great British Beer Festival

I'll be there Fred. I expect I will be found propping up the American cask bar as I'm working on the wrong side of it again. Bad news for those who remembered the old set up when all the foreign beers, foreign to the UK that is, were all on one bar. The organisers in their infinite wisdom, (bearing in mind that they have a vendetta against BSF for being so popular), have now split the beers up on to 4 separate sites which are spread around the venue. This makes managing the bars for the team, a nightmare. All services such as bottle collecting and disposal now have to be triplicated as we cannot now have the one large set up behind the main bar. They will be:- 1. USA draught (draft), 2. USA and Rest of the World (Bottles), 3.Germany and Czech, and finally 4. Belgium, Holland and Italy. Now if what the Italian contingent were saying at the BSF meeting in Edinburgh in March, holds true, there should a smorgasbord of Italian beers this year. I'll hold my breath until I see the list. Hope to see some of you there. Mat
