Speaking of avoiding trouble with the law: I forgot to transfer the 83 cents to the Nürnberger customs office which I declared in the required 3-page form after my last 21 liter batch right away. I hope that the fact that the money arrived a couple of days later than the paperwork won't irritate them too much. For those keeping score at home, it costs me 58 cents for a stamp, ? cents for 4 printed pages of paperwork (1 to declare the next batch in advance, 3 to pay the last one brewed) and an envelop, plus about 4 cents per liter of 1.036 OG (9% Stammwürze) beer produced every time I homebrew. |
