beer recipe - will it work? |

Doesn't seem such a revolutionary recipe and is quite like some of the Eschawo mixes. I recall one of the Neuhaus homebrewers telling me last year that he used a similar proportion of Munchener and Pilsner malt and added a third type to vary the taste - but can't remember what it was - too many seildas taken! I presume that it is going to be bottom fermented so I would be interested to know what type of brewing kit will be used. Also, today is 23 April and your party is 22 June - only 2 months for lagering? I brewed some ale last night - supposed to be an India Pale. It was a simple process using a pack of malt extract but instread of the recommended invert sugar, I used 1 kilo of spray dried light malt. Also added some Cascade and Northern Brewer hops. Can't tell you what the yeast was as it came with the kit. Quantity 23 litres and OG was about 1045. Took me about an hour. |
