Help with beer ID

That RateBeer entry probably has it right - note that at least one RateBeer entry mentions Gasthof Neuner and the chestnut-brown color. It's not unusual for a pub or restaurant to use a similar term for a brewery's given beer, rather than the brewery's label name.
