Comparing Bland Beer

Now that *would* be a good comparison: Edelstoff and Peroni. I once paid 9€ for the privilege of enjoying a wine glass of the latter at a nicely located café in the lovely town of Portofino. I did it just for the experience, and so that I could later explain that I'd done so. I can't recall exactly, but I think "Schwemme" is indeed a Münchner term, though it's maybe more limited in Franconia to indicate only the passageway from street to courtyard, and in München, it's for a bigger room. I think it comes from where the horses used to be watered or summat like that. I'm not expert in what's on and how it's served at Augustiner, but I have only seen the Edelstoff served bayerischen Anstich, not the Hell.
