| Have a few bottles of it and the Lager. Not going to waste such good beer as Mönchsambacher on such an exercise as this though! FWIW, the Mönchsambacher is not as strong --5%-- as these, and it has much more character. What makes an export beer an export beer? What I've always thought (holdover from nasty, evil, American homebrewing background!) is that it's basically stronger than "regular" lager, to survive the exportation into the Ausland. |
