Zoigl newbie information

The climb up to Neuhaus and its Marktplatz is a lot steeper than the hike back up Eschawo's Hauptstrasse, but yeah, you get some exercise on the walk between the two towns. Been to Mitterteich and Falkenberg too ... really liked Oppl in Mitterteich a lot, and Wolfadl in Falkenberg as well. Also had a really good lunch at the Hösl-affiliated pub-restaurant in Mitterteich. This next trip, I hope to get out to Eslarn as well, which completes the "real" Zoigl circuit of the remaining five communal-brewing towns. Another quiet pleasure is the Alter Pfarrhof in Altenstadt, just north of Weiden. This place is run by the same family that runs Loistl in Eschawo. It has a nice beer garden as well.
