Zoigl newbie information |

Mike, if you don't mind having a communal-brewed beer that does not carry the Zoigl name, you might consider Neuhaus an der Pegnitz. It has regular train service, the town is flat and the beer is excellent (at least in the pub I tried). I think Windischeschenbach is a popular destination because it is the only one of the remaining Zoigl towns with regular train service. The other three involve bus connections that are not always ideal. Personally, I have no interest in returning there. The hills are indeed walkable, but it is no fun. And there are other real Zoigl towns without that handicap. |
